(WASHINGTON) — President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States wants an open and constructive relationship with China but achieving that relationship requires us to defend our national interest.
President Trump said ” The Chinese government has continuously violated its promises to us and to so many other nations. These plan facts can not be over looked or swept aside. The World is now suffering as result of the malfeasance of Chinese Government”
He Said that China cover up of the Wuhan virus allowed the disease to spread all over the World, instigating a global pandemic that has caused more than 100 thousand Americans lives and more than a million lives worldwide.
He said that Chinese official has ignored their reporting obligations to the World Health Organization and pressured the WHO to mislead the World when the virus was first discovered by Chinese Authorities. Countless lives have been taken and profound economic loss have been inflected all over the globe.
China has total control over the World Health Organization despite only paying 40 Million Dollars per year. Comparing to what the United States has been paying which is approximately 450 Million Dollars per year, He said.
President Donald Trump Added ” World Health Organization (WHO) has failed to make the requested and greatly needed reforms, so we will be today terminating our relationship with World Health Organization”.
The World need answers from China on the Virus. We mush have transparency, why is that China shut off infected people from Wuhan to all other parts of China because it did not go anywhere else. It didn’t go to Beijing’s and no other part in China, He Said.
The China has allowed the virus to travel through out the World including Europe and United States. The Death and distractions caused by is virus is incalculable. We must have answers not just for us but for the rest of the World, He said.
Trump declared this pandemic as Biggest Economic nightmare for United States as it underscored the crucial importance of building up American Economic Independence.
