Peshawar (PR) 21, March 2019: An Emergency meeting of the teaching faculty, administrative officers and ministerial staff was held on March 21, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the side room Recreation Centre, ICP. The meeting had been convened to condemn the derogatory and foul language and bullying behaviour of the TSA cabinet against a faculty member from the Department of Computer Science. A large number of the said members participated in solidarity with the aggrieved faculty member. The meeting unanimously passed a resolution condemning the use of foul and derogatory language against the said faculty member and demanded an impartial probe into the allegations of the TSA. It was demanded of the TSA cabinet to tender an unconditional apology within seven days. Moreover, a four-member committee was formed to probe the allegations within seven days.
It was also unanimously decided that if the allegations levelled against the administration were proved, the administration shall be held accountable. But if the allegations could not be proven, a strong disciplinary action shall be taken against the TSA cabinet.
The meeting demanded of the TSA cabinet to abide by the laws of the TSA Constitution.
