LCA-KP Announce Divisional Conventions Against Proposed Amendments In KP Local Government Act 2013

Local council association khyber pakhtunkhwa(LCA-KP) has rejected imminent(proposed) amendments in khyber pakhtunkhwa local government act 2013 which aims to demolish elected local governments/district councils at district level and interesting all political and financial authority to thebureaucracy in violation of the constitution of Pakistan.

It is worth mentioning that LCA -KP represents all elected local councils in the KP Province of Pakistan.According to the well placed sources of the LCA-KP will hold divisional conventions against proposed amendemnts and first convention will be held in malakand on feb 19th 2019 for which Mr.Ahmad Ali Shah District nazim malakand will be focal person and all district,tehsil village and neighbourhood councils nazimeen,district,tehsil and village neighbourhood councils member will be participating.

SCHEDULE OF CONVENTIONS:

1)In Hazara Division convention will be held on feb 27 for which Mr.Asif Ali Jah(General Secretary LCA-KP) will be focal person.

2In Dera Ismail Khan convention will be held on 6th March for which the focal person will be Mr.Mustafa Kundi(District Nazim Tank)

3)In Bannu the convention will be held on 7th March for which the focal person will be Mr.Irfan Durrani(District Nazim Bannu)

4)In Kohat the convention will be held on 13th March for which the focal person will be Mr.Naseem Afridi(District Nazim Kohat).

It may be noted that all elected nazimeen,naib nazimeen and councils members have joined hands against the proposed amendments in the local government act 2013 irrespective of their political affiliation and even district,tehsil nazimeen and naib nazimeen affiliated with the ruling pakistan tehrek -e-insaf(PTI) are taking active part in the movement against the proposed amendments.
