PESHAWAR: “The Round Table Suggestive Discussion” will be held on 14th of January on “The Childhood Marriages Preventing Act Bill” organized by department of Social Work
A suggestive discussion on the prevention of child and forced marriages act bill which has been presented in the Provincial Assembly will be discussed comprehensively under the supervision of Peshawar University Teacher’s Association (PUTA) and UN-WOMEN Pakistan. The discussions aim to take the views and opinions of the academia on the mentioned bill. The Pro-vice Chancellor Dr. Johar Ali and the UN-WOMEN KPK Chapter head Zainab Khan would be the chief guests of the suggestive discussion.
The chairmen of Social Work, Islamyat, Psychology, Sociology and the Department of Philosophy will also participate and will share their perspectives regarding the mentioned bill. All the sum ups of the discussion regarding the prevention of child marriages will be put forwarded to the Provincial government as recommendations; hence it which will help out in the act of making effective legislations. Regardless this, the enrolled male and female students of various department will also participate in the suggestive discussion.
