Cagliari 2 April, 2019: A young black player Moise Kean gets racially abused in a Serie A match between Juventus and Cagliari.
The 19-year-old held his arms aloft after scoring Juve’s second in the 2-0 win, seemingly in response to chants, and was subjected to further abuse from the fans chanting Monkey.
Kean responded to the racism on his Instagram account with picture of his celebration after scoring the goal with say no to racism.
Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci said that Cagliari fans being racist towards Moise Kean all match are 50% to blame and the other 50% rests with Moise because he provoked them after scoring in the 85th minute.
Allegri (Kean’s manager) responded to the incident by saying that Kean incited the racist chants due to his celebration, so he’s partly to blame. What an awful take.
The only person who fully backed him was Matuidi – another Black player.
