“I wish Barack Obama was still President”- LeBron James takes swipe at Donald Trump for NBA Boycott stance

Lebron James praised former president Barack Obama  after the latter played a crucial role to get the league back on track post the boycott.

Former President Barack Obama played an important and crucial role to get the league back on track after the players boycotted the playoff-games after an unarmed black man Jacob Blake was shot 7 times by the police.

NBA superstar LeBron James along with NBPA President Chris Paul and a few other stars had a conference call with Obama wherein the former president of the country urged them to continue with their season. Obama felt it would give them an even bigger platform to raise awareness about racial inequality in the country.

Obama completed his second term in January 20, 2017 and as per the rules of the constitution of the country, a President can have a maximum of two tenures.

“President Obama is a great man, and I wish he was still the President of the United States” LeBron James said.
