Wiki-Leaks Co-Founder Julian Assange Arrested outside Ecuador Embassy in London.

London 11 April, 2019: Wiki-Leaks Co-founder Julian Assange has been arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, UK.

Julian Assange, citizen of Australia and Ecuador is a journalist and publisher know as co founder of Wikileaks has been arrested by secret police in London out side Ecuador Embassy. Assange had been living in the embassy since 2012, but Ecuador withdrew his asylum and invited police inside today.

Earlier British court found Assange liable on Thursday evening of breaking the conditions of his bail, a relatively minor infraction that could bring up to a year-long prison sentence.

Judge Michael Snow quickly issued his verdict on Thursday after Assange appeared in the courtroom where his supporters packed the public gallery. Assange faces a sentence of up to 12 months for the conviction, in addition to the more has serious charges pending in the United States.

Scotland Yard Police has confirmed the arrest of Assange on “Behalf of United States”.

The US Department of Justice confirmed his arrest on conspiracy with Chelsea Manning. In a Press Release they stated that ” The indictment alleges that in March 2010, Assange engaged in a conspiracy with Chelsea Manning, a former intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army, to assist Manning in cracking a password stored on U.S. Department of Defense computers connected to the Secret Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNet), a U.S. government network used for classified documents and communications.  Manning, who had access to the computers in connection with her duties as an intelligence analyst, was using the computers to download classified records to transmit to WikiLeaks”.
